Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- willingness to adhere to company uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a pastry cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and menu specifications accurately
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a culinary team
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Report to work in a clean, complete uniform in a timely manner
- consistently monitor sanitation and cleanliness of work station, kitchen and equipment
- adhere to company and department policies and procedures
- maintain par levels determined by Sous Chef
- label and date products produced on a daily basis
- follow menu specifications in a precise, efficient manner according to Executive Chef guidelines
- perform work related duties as assigned
- participate in department meetings
