The lodge offers an inviting alpine ambiance combined with elegant accommodations, fine dining experiences, and access to some of the best ski terrain in North America. Visitors not only enjoy the stunning mountain views but also the rich heritage of Stein Eriksen, whose name has become synonymous with excellence in skiing and hospitality.
The lodge is part of the Stein Collection, which includes four distinguished properties: Stein Eriksen Lodge, Stein Eriksen Residences, The Chateaux Deer Valley, and The Chateaux Residences. This collection prides itself on creating legendary experiences for guests, owners, and team members alike. Working for the Stein Collection means being part of a long-established icon and an ever-growing brand that fosters a positive, respectful, and supportive company culture. The team is diverse, hardworking, and dedicated, with many employees staying with the company for ten or more years, reflecting the strong loyalty and commitment shaped by the workplace environment.
The Pastry Cook position at Stein Eriksen Lodge invites culinary professionals to explore all possibilities within the culinary world and develop their careers alongside talented chefs. This role is essential in crafting memorable experiences for guests through the creation of exquisite pastry offerings that reflect high standards of quality and presentation. The position requires creativity, discipline, and an openness to learn new techniques in pastry preparation and baking. Daily responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to company policies, and precisely following Executive Chef guidelines to ensure consistency and excellence. The Pastry Cook will report to work in full uniform and contribute to the kitchen’s overall efficiency by managing inventory and labeling products. This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for long periods and to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
The Stein Collection values its employees and offers competitive wages alongside bonus plans to acknowledge dedication and service. Employees benefit from chef-prepared meals provided daily at no cost, comfortable on-site heated parking, and extensive ski and snowboard perks at Park City Mountain, Canyons Resort, and Deer Valley Resort. The company supports flexible work schedules and time off policies to accommodate family commitments, education, and personal activities. Additionally, team members enjoy weekly raffles for tickets to popular events, monthly appreciation events, and access to discounts on hotel rooms, spa services, dining, shopping, and winter sports rentals. Joining the Stein Eriksen Lodge team means becoming part of a community that not only celebrates excellence in hospitality but also prioritizes the well-being and growth of its staff.
