Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- less than 1 year related work experience
- no supervisory experience
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- flexibility to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- ability to reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- ability to comply with food safety and hygiene policies

Job Duties
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
- prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
- safely use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances
- follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures
- check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food and report issues to management
- wash and disinfect kitchen area, set-up and break-down work station, and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures
- monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift
