Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous relevant experience in pastry cooking or baking
- Ability to follow standard recipes and food safety guidelines
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health department regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a pastry cook role or similar culinary position
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production
- Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and production requirements for banquet, outlet desserts, breads and breakfast pastries
- Monitor age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
- Keep all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with health department regulations
- Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus as needed
- Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
- Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
