At the heart of Four Seasons is the belief in treating everyone with kindness and respect, ensuring that every guest and team member feels valued and connected.
This opportunity is based at the stunning Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi, located on the southeastern coast of the pristine Hawaiian island of Lānaʻi. As a Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort, Four Seasons Lānaʻi embodies an exclusive and tranquil atmosphere that deeply engages its guests with the natural beauty and rich culture of the Hawaiian Islands.
The Pastry Cook I position at Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi is a key leadership role within the Resort’s Pastry and Bakery department. Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef, this role involves supervising daily operations, managing food costs and production, and delivering culinary training to the pastry team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for excellence, creativity, and a proven track record in pastry and bakery operations including chocolates, sugar work, lamination processes, artisan and healthy bread programs. This role demands a commitment to food quality, sanitation, and operational efficiency while nurturing a collaborative team environment.
Paying an hourly rate of $31.89, the position offers a comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer-contributed medical, dental, and vision coverage, competitive wages, retirement plans, paid time off, holiday pay, employee engagement events, complimentary stays at Four Seasons properties worldwide, and on-island housing subsidies. The position requires legal work authorization in the United States, successful completion of a Hawaii State Department of Health TB clearance, physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and availability to work weekends and holidays.
By joining Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi, you will be part of a community that values inclusivity, diversity, and the true spirit of Aloha. This role offers an enriching career path for culinary professionals who are eager to grow their skills, contribute to a world-class team, and shape unforgettable guest experiences in a breathtaking island setting. Join us to be part of an energizing employee culture where your creativity and dedication are celebrated and nurtured.
