Job Requirements

  • Completed technical, trade, or vocational school education
  • minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • ability to safely operate baking tools and kitchen appliances
  • compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, walking, and reaching as required
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare breads and pastries including doughs and fillings
  • proof, bake, and decorate baked goods
  • review production sheets for daily baked goods variety
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
  • maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
  • safely use baking and measuring tools and equipment
  • monitor food quality and portions during shifts
