Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry or bakery preferably with large production volume
  • Knowledge of baking ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and baking times
  • Strong commitment to complying with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills to report issues related to food safety management system

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare pastry items according to specification/recipe
  • Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to manager and hygiene and food safety team
  • Ensure accuracy in measuring ingredients and preparation methods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals
