Job Requirements

  • at least 1-2 years experience as a pastry cook
  • culinary arts degree preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency in English
  • ability to work under pressure
  • strong work ethic
  • food safety certification or ability to obtain
  • full availability including days, nights, and weekends
  • sufficient mobility to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
  • ability to lift, push, or pull approximately 50lbs
  • ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience as a pastry cook
  • a degree in culinary arts, pastry and baking preferred
  • strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to understand, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
  • strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow
  • ability to obtain food safety certifications
  • full availability including days, nights, and weekends

Job Duties

  • produce all baked goods and pastry preparations daily
  • work the line to execute dessert items
  • follow recipes and presentation standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
  • assist in inventory and stock management
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • collaborate with kitchen team to support service flow
