  • minimum 2 years pastry experience
  • college degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
  • food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
  • ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
  • read, write, speak and understand english
  • ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

Job Duties

  • assist in the preparation of pastries and desserts
  • bake and decorate cakes, pastries, and confections
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
  • collaborate with pastry chefs to develop new recipes and menu items
  • ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • communicate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
