Job Requirements
- minimum 2 years pastry experience
- college degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
- food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
- ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
- ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
- read, write, speak and understand english
- ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

Job Duties
- assist in the preparation of pastries and desserts
- bake and decorate cakes, pastries, and confections
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- collaborate with pastry chefs to develop new recipes and menu items
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- communicate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff
