Job Requirements

  • minimum 2 years pastry experience
  • college degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
  • food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
  • ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
  • read, write and speak and understand English
  • ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

Job Duties

  • prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts
  • assist in presentation and plating of dessert items
  • collaborate with pastry chefs to develop new recipes and improve existing ones
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
  • monitor inventory and order pastry supplies as needed
  • comply with health and safety regulations
  • work efficiently in a fast-paced culinary environment
