Job Duties
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- prepare ingredients for cooking such as portioning, chopping, and storing
- use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and appropriately
- comply with food handling safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
- monitor and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food, report issues to management
- wash and sanitize kitchen area, organize and divide workstations, follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
- monitor food quality and portion sizes during shifts
- adhere to company policies including safety, report accidents and unsafe conditions to management
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- communicate clearly and professionally, handle phone calls appropriately
- foster positive labor relations and support team goals
- move, lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- work on varied surfaces and in different physical positions for extended periods
- perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
