Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen preparing and cooking
- Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow staff as a team player
- Ability to speak, read and understand basic baking and cooking directions
- Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling or lifting
Job Qualifications

- Basic literacy to read and understand baking and cooking directions
- Ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare all dessert and baked good items on the menu using Standard Recipe Cards
- Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
- Complete a Daily Prep List and Closing Checklist for each shift
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, adhering to all DHEC regulations
- Promptly report all product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues
- Assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
- Follow instructions given by the Pastry Chef or manager-on-duty
