Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience in pastry preparation
- knowledge of pastry shop operations
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- availability for shifts including weekends and holidays
- food safety certification
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role
- knowledge of pastry techniques and baking standards
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- attention to detail and commitment to quality
- strong organizational and time management skills
- culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare all pastry products in accordance with pastry shop standards
- assist higher level bakers as needed
- follow instructions and tasks assigned by the chef
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- ensure quality control in the preparation and presentation of pastries
- participate in inventory management and stock replenishment
- adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen
