Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of three years of pastry cook experience
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment
  • capability to work flexible hours without late nights
  • must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • at least three years of experience as a pastry cook in a hotel restaurant country club or similar establishment
  • ability to understand and follow instructions in English
  • effective communication skills
  • working knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
  • understanding of measurements conversions nutrition and diet requirements
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to provide photo samples of dessert and pastry creations

Job Duties

  • prepare pastries baked goods and desserts from scratch according to standard recipes
  • accommodate special dietary orders when necessary
  • organize pastry production in a cost-effective manner
  • maintain compliance with health and safety standards
  • keep workstation clean safe and sanitary at all times
  • operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment properly
  • follow personal hygiene and dress code standards
