We are currently seeking dedicated Pastry Cooks to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of an array of baked goods, pastries, and desserts following prescribed recipes and special requests. The position requires the ability to work various shifts including weekends and demands proficiency in safe and effective use of kitchen tools and equipment. Strong communication skills are essential to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions accurately. Ideal candidates should be able to multitask calmly under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment, maneuver in confined and sometimes high-noise spaces, and handle physical requirements such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.

- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or in a similar bakery role preferred
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Ability to follow recipes and special dietary instructions accurately
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Prepare, produce and present pastries, baked goods and/or desserts according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests
- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives
- Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
- Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels
- Able to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
