Hamlin House is a premier Florida-inspired social and racquet club located in Orlando's vibrant SoDo neighborhood. Spanning over 28,000 square feet of seamless indoor and outdoor spaces, this exceptional club offers premium pickleball courts, curated cultural experiences, and an innovative food and beverage program led by acclaimed Chef John Fraser and JF Restaurants. JF Restaurants, a respected and award-winning hospitality group, is currently seeking talented and passionate Pastry Cooks to join their culinary team at Hamlin House. As a Pastry Cook at Hamlin House, you will play a vital role in executing a diverse and creative pastry program where quality and presentation are paramount.   • Knowledge of fundamental pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert preparation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute all pastry and dessert items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist with daily mise en place, including doughs, batters, creams, and garnishes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry station
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to support service and special events
  • Communicate product needs, inventory levels, and prep priorities
  • Participate in family meal and overall kitchen support
  • Assist with station breakdown and deep cleaning
