Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a pastry cook or baker
  • Knowledge of baking methods and ingredients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Create pastries, baked goods, and confections by following set recipes
  • Operate and manage the pastry section of the kitchen and liaise with executive and sous chefs for a successful working environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of baking ingredients and apply creative methods
  • Assist in developing seasonal recipes and menus to align with food trends
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the bakery section
  • Prepare a variety of baked goods
  • Adapt and remain flexible to changes
  • Perform assigned or requested duties
  • Maintain a positive, energetic, fun attitude toward guests and team members
