The Pastry Cook role at Four Seasons St. Louis offers an exciting opportunity to join a world-class culinary team dedicated to creating exquisite sweet offerings that complement the hotel’s luxury standards. Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, with oversight from the Executive Chef, the Pastry Cook prepares and plans a diverse range of desserts including pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, breads, and chocolates. This role requires adherence to strict food safety protocols, precision in recipe execution, and a passion for culinary arts. The position ranges from Pastry Cook I to Pastry Cook III depending on experience and skill level and involves assisting with specialty items for amenities and special events.

Job Duties
- Ensure food safety by following storage, sanitation, allergy guidelines and labeling protocols
- Prepare pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, breads and chocolates following recipe specifications
- Assist in creating specialty items for amenities and special functions
- Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas, sweep floors, and sanitize surfaces
- Monitor and manage prep stock levels to ensure quality standards
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a professional atmosphere and timely service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly during food preparation
