Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years pastry cook experience
  • cake decorating skills
  • ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively
  • ability to read and write
  • capacity to stand and move for up to eight hours
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • finger dexterity for tool use
  • availability on days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years pastry cook experience including cake decorating
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • capable of reading and writing for communication purposes
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • skilled in using small tools for pastry preparation
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • produce all restaurant and ballroom desserts alongside the pastry chef
  • decorate cakes with high attention to detail
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstation
  • communicate clearly with supervisors, employees, and dining staff
  • adhere to food safety standards
  • manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
  • work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
