Job Requirements
- 2-3 years pastry cook experience
- cake decorating skills
- ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively
- ability to read and write
- capacity to stand and move for up to eight hours
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- finger dexterity for tool use
- availability on days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years pastry cook experience including cake decorating
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- capable of reading and writing for communication purposes
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- skilled in using small tools for pastry preparation
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- produce all restaurant and ballroom desserts alongside the pastry chef
- decorate cakes with high attention to detail
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstation
- communicate clearly with supervisors, employees, and dining staff
- adhere to food safety standards
- manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
- work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
