Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in professional cooking
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read speak and interpret documents in English
  • Flexible to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Must be organized and personable
  • Must maintain confidentiality of company and customer information

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years professional cooking experience in restaurant or similar establishment
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read speak and interpret documents in clear English
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
  • Organized motivating and personable with excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of reservation management systems preferred
  • Passion for pastry career as a profession

Job Duties

  • Oversees assigned areas of pastry production and works service
  • Execute recipes maintaining kitchen equipment and punctuality
  • Use working knowledge of basic pastry techniques such as scaling mixing proofing baking decorating finishing
  • Assist in the production of a dynamic pastry program including seasonal specials
  • Ensure quality standards are met daily as per chef's guidance
  • Manage inventory ensuring all necessary items are stocked at shift start
  • Communicate inventory needs in appropriate timeframe
