Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year of experience in a pastry or baking role within a full-service restaurant
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- willingness to learn and grow professionally
Job Qualifications
- experience in pastry cooking or baking in a high-volume restaurant environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- strong organizational and time management skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- culinary degree or professional training in baking or pastry arts is a plus
Job Duties
- prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts according to established recipes and standards
- ensure high quality and consistent presentation of all baked goods
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen areas
- monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service
- assist with menu development and recipe testing as needed
