Job Requirements

  • Previous pastry experience and/or a culinary degree is a plus
  • A solid understanding of cooking ingredients and techniques
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary or pastry school training preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of baking techniques and kitchen safety
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of a range of delicious pastries and desserts
  • Follow pastry culinary standards and recipes with precision
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pastry workstations and storage areas
  • Properly store and label ingredients and finished products
  • Support inventory control and daily prep lists
  • Embrace learning opportunities and grow your culinary expertise
  • Collaborate with pastry and culinary team members to ensure timely production
