Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to event schedule
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations
  • Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service
  • Must be able to generalize, evaluate, and make decisions without immediate supervision
  • Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions
  • Must have pastry degree or graduated from a certified apprenticeship program
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years cooking experience in the contract food service industry
  • Preferred experience in premium services, catering, and concessions for sports and entertainment venues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong commitment to customer and client service with demonstrated initiative and leadership
  • Customer service oriented with ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • High level of organization and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
  • Direct, implement, and maintain a guest service and management philosophy that guides respective team members
  • Meet with Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other job performance information
  • Ensure that only the highest-quality product is served to guests
  • Apply strong baking and pastry skills
  • Utilize knowledge of bread baking and advanced baking and pastry techniques
  • Maintain and abide by County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards
