Job Requirements

- Prior bakery experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical capability to work in demanding kitchen environments
- Ability to learn and apply inventory control procedures
- Demonstrated skill in various bakery techniques
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
- Possess advanced knowledge of bakery skill blocks
- Ability to handle flexible scheduling
- Working knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Ability to operate all bakery stations proficiently
- Understanding of profit and loss basics
- Advanced proficiency in piping jellies, icings, creams etc.
- Intermediate understanding of chocolate and sugar work
- Ability to create amenity displays
Job Duties
- Follow recipe book and guidelines set forth by Corporate Food and Beverage
- Ensure that kitchens and equipment are in good working order to maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
- Work hands-on in high volume production kitchens baking cakes, pies, pastries, breads, tortes and other bakery items
- Communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management
- Apply inventory control procedures
- Demonstrate ability to operate 100% of all bakery stations without hesitation
- Interpret and calculate recipes accurately
