Job Requirements

  • Work authorization in the United States required
  • Previous experience in pastry preparation or similar role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

  • Experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in pastry preparation
  • Knowledge of baking and pastry techniques
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and presentation standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Supervise and oversee the preparation of pastry food items per guest orders or as assigned by kitchen management in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment
  • Participate in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards
  • Complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory and minimize waste
