Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
one year of bakery experience preferred
current food handler's permit required
ability to read and follow recipes
basic math skills required
ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
excellent communication skills
ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
physical ability to stand and move for extended periods

Job Qualifications

one year of bakery experience preferred
current food handler's permit
experience preparing pastries quickly and efficiently
ability to read and follow recipes
basic math skills
knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling procedures
strong verbal and listening skills
excellent organization and planning skills
ability to accept constructive feedback and work collaboratively
integrity and positive attitude
ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties

Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services
maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products
ensure the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily
deliver excellent customer service
follow production sheets to ensure proper inventory levels
ensure correct amounts of ingredients and supplies are in stock
prepare, cook, bake, assemble, and decorate pastries
communicate openly with Store Director and Bakery Manager
