Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
One year of bakery experience preferred
Current Food Handler's Permit
Ability to read and follow recipes
Basic math skills
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Strong communication skills
Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
One year of bakery experience preferred
Current Food Handler's Permit
Experience preparing pastries quickly and efficiently with quality results
Ability to read and follow a recipe
Basic math skills for adjusting recipes
Knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembly procedures for pastries
Strong organizational and planning skills
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Ability to accept constructive feedback and be accountable
Integrity and a positive attitude
Commitment to company mission and teamwork
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties

Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
Ensures the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services
Maintains appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all bakery products
Cleans and sanitizes bakery area according to company standards
Provides excellent customer service
Prepares, cooks, bakes, assembles, and decorates pastries
Communicates regularly with Store Director and Bakery Manager
