Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
at least one year of bakery experience preferred
current Food Handler's Permit required
ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
ability to stand and move for extended periods
ability to lift up to 50 pounds
good communication skills
ability to follow policies and procedures
strong organizational skills
positive attitude and integrity

Job Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED preferred
one year of bakery experience preferred
current Food Handler's Permit
ability to prepare pastries efficiently with quality results
ability to read and follow a recipe
basic math skills
knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling pastries
excellent organization and planning skills
strong verbal and listening communication skills
ability to accept constructive feedback
integrity and a positive attitude
passion for the company's mission
ability to work collaboratively
flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties

Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products
maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products
ensure daily cleaning and sanitation of the bakery
deliver excellent customer service
follow production sheets to maintain inventory levels
manage ingredients and supplies stock
prepare, cook, bake, assemble, and decorate pastries
communicate regularly with Store Director and Bakery Manager
