Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a pastry chef or similar role
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary experience in pastry or dessert preparation
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
  • Knowledge of sanitation and health code regulations
  • Experience with kitchen organization and inventory management
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Job Duties

  • Maintain quality and consistency standards of desserts set forth by the Executive Chef, General Manager and Ownership
  • Ensure the station and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in accordance with company standards and health code regulations
  • Organize kitchen, manage product rotation, and perform routine maintenance
  • Accurately follow recipes to ensure consistency of the dessert program
  • Coordinate and direct all dessert preparation from prep through service
  • Assist in ordering special ingredients and needs when necessary
  • Responsible for weekly inventory counts for the pastry department
