Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior baking or culinary experience preferred
  • valid food safety certification
  • ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  • willingness to comply with safety and hygiene standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred
  • established knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
  • mandatory food safety certification
  • proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • physical ability to manage lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required

Job Duties

  • create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • arrange work area with all essential ingredients and tools needed for baking
  • quantify, weigh, blend, and chop ingredients to prepare for baking
  • handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • use utensils safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • observe food safety protocols for the correct storage of goods
  • clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to promote hygiene
  • uphold positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service
  • implement Aramark safety procedures and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ensure safety of corporate resources by following established security protocols
