Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in baking or culinary arts
  • Valid food safety certification
  • Ability to manage physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or similar role preferred
  • Established knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Arrange work area with essential ingredients and tools needed for baking
  • Prepare ingredients by quantifying, weighing, blending, and chopping
  • Handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Follow food safety protocols for correct storage of goods
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils after use
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold a positive attitude
