Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification is mandatory
  • Previous baking or similar experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in basic math and counting
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and sanitation compliance
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to convey messages effectively
  • Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment when required

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Arrange work area with essential ingredients and tools for baking
  • Complete ingredient preparation steps including quantifying, weighing, blending, and chopping
  • Operate baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Practice safe use of utensils like knives during meal preparation
  • Observe and implement food safety protocols for proper storage of goods
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to maintain hygiene
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude
  • Adhere strictly to Aramark safety procedures and food sanitation guidelines
  • Ensure security by following established corporate protocols
