Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship
- 3-5 years experience as a Pastry Cook at a 4 or 5 star hotel or restaurant
- Food handling certificate
- Flexible and long hours required sometimes
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Knowledge of Latin and Asian cuisine a plus

- Check quality of pastry products
- Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure company standards
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate dessert offerings
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Assist in training junior pastry staff
