The role of Pastry Cook at SUSHISAMBA is a critical position within the culinary team. Reporting directly to the Head Pastry Chef, the Pastry Cook is responsible for the meticulous preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of desserts. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship
- 3-5 years experience as a Pastry Cook at a 4 or 5 star hotel or restaurant
- Food handling certificate
- Flexible and long hours required sometimes
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Knowledge of Latin and Asian cuisine a plus
