- physical capability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand or walk for extended periods

- established knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and compliance with sanitation regulations
- food safety certification
- proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage physical responsibilities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking/standing
- willingness to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- arrange your work area with all the essential ingredients and tools needed for baking
- complete the necessary steps of quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and more to prepare the ingredients
- handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
- take precautions to use utensils, like knives, safely and effectively during meal preparation
- observe food safety protocols for the correct storage of goods
- clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils once they have been used to promote a hygienic workplace
