Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a pastry chef role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to lead and train kitchen staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks safely
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or relevant role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts
- Creativity in developing new pastry recipes and presentations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs

Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain quality of all product and presentation
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of pastry production areas
- Receive, check and properly store all incoming product
- Know and comply with all sanitation standards
- Schedule pastry and bread production based on business needs and communicate to staff
- Prepare reports as needed including payroll and scheduling
- Review vendor pricing structures and adjust product as needed
- Operate, teach and supervise safe operation of all appliances and equipment
- Handle conflict resolution of guests and staff as needed
