Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior baking experience preferred
  • mandatory food safety certification
  • physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • adherence to safety guidelines
  • willingness to wear uniforms and PPE when required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • knowledge of baking procedures and sanitation regulations
  • food safety certification
  • proficiency in basic math operations
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to convey messages effectively in both written and spoken forms
  • physical capability to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • arrange work area with essential ingredients and tools for baking
  • quantify, weigh, blend, chop, and prepare ingredients
  • handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • take precautions to use utensils like knives safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • observe food safety protocols for correct storage of goods
  • clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils to maintain hygiene
  • uphold a positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service
  • implement Aramark safety procedures and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • guarantee safety of corporate resources by following security protocols
