Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior baking or culinary experience preferred
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and prolonged standing
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment when required

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a baker or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and sanitation regulations
  • Food safety certification required
  • Proficiency in basic math operations and numerical counting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to convey messages effectively in written and spoken form
  • Capability to handle physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment when required

Job Duties

  • Create baked goods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Arrange work area with essential ingredients and tools for baking
  • Quantify, weigh, blend, and prepare ingredients
  • Handle baking instruments such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Use utensils safely and effectively during meal preparation
  • Observe food safety protocols for correct storage of goods
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils
  • Uphold a positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Implement Aramark safety procedures and food sanitation guidelines
  • Adhere to established security protocols to protect corporate resources
