  • previous experience working as a pastry cook or higher
  • possession of valid Food Handler Card
  • valid documentation of your right to work in the U.S.
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently
  • ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards

Job Duties

  • follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications in line with SUSHI SAMBA standards
  • coordinate the delivery of all food items within the required time standards
  • demonstrate product standards and knowledge
  • prepare and plate food items according to specifications and preset time limits
  • ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained
  • communicate any product run outs, equipment issues and service issues
  • assist in the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, coolers, and all storage areas
