Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 3-5 years of professional pastry/bakery experience required
- Prior experience in a high-volume bakery or production environment preferred
- Supervisory or lead training experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule to accommodate busy times, holidays, and special events
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Must comply with sanitation and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Baking and pastry degree or culinary certification preferred
- Experience 3-5 years of professional pastry/bakery experience required
- Prior experience in a high-volume bakery or production environment preferred
- Supervisory or lead training experience a plus
- Knowledge of dietary-specific baking such as gluten-free and sugar-free is beneficial
- Strong technical baking and pastry skills with creativity and precision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of pastries, breads, and baked goods daily according to recipes and company standards
- Develop and test new desserts, seasonal products, and special-order items
- Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all products
- Assist with production schedules and packaging requirements for retail and special orders
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and ingredients, support ordering and stock rotation
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs
- Keep the bakery area clean, safe, and organized always
- Train and guide bakery staff and assistants in pastry techniques, efficiency, and quality standards
- Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive working environment
- Follow all company policies, dress codes, and operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and health regulations always
- Operate equipment safely and in accordance with guidelines
