Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in baking or pastry preparation preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Produce baked items, including bread, cookies, pastries, and custom desserts, of exceptional quality
  • jazz up cakes and treats with original and precise ornamentation
  • employ safe and efficient practices when using ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers
  • uphold the standards for freshness, quality, and safety of food products
  • keep bakery counters and shelves orderly, neat, and stocked up with products
  • communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer care
