Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience preferred
  • Certification in food safety required
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
  • Commitment to workplace safety and sanitation standards
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or related role
  • Sound understanding of baking practices and food safety regulations
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Basic math skills for measuring and counting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and follow PPE guidelines

Job Duties

  • Use standardized recipes and production guidelines to prepare a range of baked goods
  • Get baking station ready with necessary tools and ingredients
  • Arrange ingredients by measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other tasks
  • Utilize baking appliances such as ovens, cooktops, and mixers
  • Follow safety guidelines when using kitchen utensils including knives
  • Ensure proper food storage by adhering to established policies and procedures
  • Clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils after use
  • Provide excellent customer service and exhibit a positive attitude with guests and coworkers
  • Adhere to Aramark safety measures including food safety and cleanliness protocols
  • Secure company property by following designated security protocols
