Job Requirements
- 1 year of prior experience in the pastry department of a high-volume, full-service restaurant or supportive role is preferred
- Food Handler Certification (if applicable)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Prepare all pastry items for the restaurant according to specifications
- The demonstration, preparation, presentation and execution of each menu item will be held to restaurant standards
- Produce food on a timely basis and be well-educated regarding the menu to ensure proper guest service
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, pastry, cooking, and refrigeration equipment
- Follow departmental policies as well as restaurant rules, regulations and policies set forth in the Employee Handbook and by management
- Report any maintenance or repairs needed to any kitchen equipment
- Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests
- Prevent the spoiling and contamination of foods by implementing proper sanitation practices and ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen facilities
- Take on responsibilities outside of this job post at times as needed
