Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or replace products
- regulate oven, grill, and roaster temperatures
- thaw food items in refrigerator
- ensure appropriate food portions, distribution, and garnishing
- maintain food records
- monitor food quality and quantity
- communicate and assist during busy periods
- inform chef about excess food for specials
- inform food and beverage staff about rejected products and specials
- ensure food quality
- prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
- prepare cold dishes
- assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and training employees
- comply with safety and company policies
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- anticipate and meet guest service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally
- cultivate positive work relationships
- support team goals
- respond appropriately to employee concerns
- ensure quality expectations
- stand, sit, or walk for long periods
