The role of a Pasta Cook at CPK is integral to delivering the signature guest experience that the restaurant is famous for. The Pasta Cook is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and sanitation within the kitchen. This role focuses on the preparation and timely delivery of pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items, ensuring each plate meets CPK’s culinary standards and guests' expectations. The Pasta Cook plays an active part in the daily line checks and prep sheets, supporting smooth kitchen operations and consistency.

Moreover, the Pasta Cook practices and promotes safe and sanitary handling of kitchen equipment, including cutting boards, countertops, knives, and other tools, ensuring a hygienic environment that complies with health and safety regulations. Responsible for station opening, closing, and side work duties each shift, the Pasta Cook contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen. The role requires three to six months of related experience or training, emphasizing both culinary skill and operational knowledge.

Job Duties

  • Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation
  • assure timely and accurate preparation of pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items
  • support line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift
  • prepare all necessary items for their station as needed
  • practice and teach safe and sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment
  • maintain the proper temperature of equipment
  • perform station opening, closing, and side work duties each shift
