Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (where applicable)
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance including background checks
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination for positions at San Francisco International Airport
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers, team members, and station leadership
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills
- Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for some airports)
- Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check
- Be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Be actively involved with all passenger service duties in your area including checking in passengers, handling luggage, communicating with passengers, and coordinating ticket counter activities with vendors, flight, and ground handling teams
- Delegate passenger service duties in your assigned area at a gate or ticket counter
- Serve as point person to address passenger concerns and questions
- Make public announcements to update passengers on flight statuses as needed
- Maintain gate security to ensure only properly ticketed passengers access the jetway
- Conduct on-the-job training and coaching for new team members
- Observe and enforce all ATS and airline safety regulations and company policies
