Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • No prior experience required as on-the-job training is provided
  • Ability to work split shifts including AM and PM or graveyard schedules
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
  • Availability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • One year of prior multi-line reception experience or dispatching experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including use of radios, telephones, and dispatch software
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including morning, evening, and graveyard
  • Military experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers
  • Schedule and dispatch resources including team members, crews, equipment, or service vehicles to locations based on customer requests using radios, telephones, and computers
  • Ensure timely and efficient movement of resources according to work orders and schedules
  • Oversee all communications within assigned areas
  • Receive or prepare work orders and work schedules
  • Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work performed, inventory, and dispatch information
  • Recognize and mitigate issues within the department, confer with clients or supervisors to address questions and resource requests
  • Monitor resources and utilization to coordinate services and schedules for optimal efficiency
  • Compile statistics and reports on work progress
  • Monitor daily services and provide updates and reports
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
