Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • authorization to work in United States or Canada
  • complete SIDA training to obtain airport security identification
  • ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs
  • alertness to moving vehicles, equipment, and aircraft
  • ability to use radio equipment effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • authorization to work in the United States or Canada as applicable
  • complete SIDA training for airport authority security
  • preferred one or more years of relevant experience
  • preferred airline and face-to-face customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service as per AGI and airline specific standards
  • always ensure safety and security is never compromised
  • handle customer interaction with class at ticket counter and gate
  • make and assist with reservations and ticket issuance
  • handle baggage checking and excess baggage charges
  • manage lost and found activities and baggage claims
  • answer passenger inquiries regarding flights and fares
  • meet aircraft at gate and manage boarding and deplaning
  • determine flight close-out time and prepare flight forms
  • communicate flight movement messages
  • follow procedures for Dangerous Goods acceptance
