Job Requirements
- high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- hold a valid driver’s license and maintain throughout employment
- computer experience necessary
- must have ability to work under pressure
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- willingness to wear uniform and insignia
- personal appearance and grooming that present a favorable corporate image
- ability to judge distance
- ability to count money
- hear and respond to customers
- reports to work on a regular and timely basis
- tolerate and answer repetitious questions from customers in a friendly, outgoing manner
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- making reservations
- preparation and issuance of tickets and itineraries
- computation of fares
- issuance of refunds
- checking baggage
- collection of excess baggage charges
- providing passengers with general travel information
- meeting aircraft at gate or loading area
- performing duties in departure lounges or boarding gates during boarding and deplaning
- checking passenger ticket validity and lifting appropriate coupon
- accommodating passengers holding reservations, standbys and their luggage
- determining flight close-out time and preparing flight forms for accuracy
- invalidating tickets and completing post-departure procedures
- performing lost and found activities, initiating tracing procedures, processing claims for damaged or lost baggage
- maintaining required records and reports of lost and found activities
- receiving airfreight shipments, establishing acceptability, determining routing, classifying and computing rates
- collecting payments and preparing routing data, carrier releases, transfer manifest drayage documents and international and domestic forms
- maintaining inventory and records of shipments
