CEC Entertainment is currently hiring Party Hosts, a role that is perfect for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build exciting careers in the entertainment and hospitality industry. Party Hosts play a vital role in ensuring that every event at Chuck E. Cheese is fun, engaging, and memorable. They are responsible for preparing party areas, setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and making sure the birthday child has an unforgettable time. The position offers competitive pay and commission opportunities, with exempt employees able to earn between $0.50 and $10.00 per membership sold and between $0.15 and $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees can earn between $2.00 and $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass sold. Commissions are paid out bi-weekly, unless state law requires otherwise.
The Party Host role provides flexible schedules, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, and access to perks and discounts programs. Additional benefits include an employee referral program and access to the CEC Cares Fund, which helps employees during catastrophes. Chuck E. Cheese also offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to receive their earnings quickly without waiting for traditional pay cycles.
Working as a Party Host involves interacting with guests of all ages in a lively, fast-paced environment that includes flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Employees must be capable of lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds and able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat throughout their shifts. The company prioritizes the safety and health of its guests and employees, adhering to rigorous health and sanitation standards and operational procedures designed to meet or exceed local requirements. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, reflecting the broad range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of the communities it serves. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and strictly prohibits discrimination based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local laws. Those joining CEC Entertainment can expect to be part of a dynamic and supportive workplace dedicated to fun, safety, and career advancement.
