Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is a prominent player in the entertainment dining industry. The company's mission is centered around creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play, making their locations the go-to destination for family-friendly entertainment. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and has invested heavily in community support and safety programs like Kid Check®. The company is also renowned for its commitment to innovation and employee well-being, as evidenced by its "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and recognition as one of America's Greatest Workplaces.
CEC Entertainment is currently hiring for the role of Party Host. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those looking to either begin their first job or build a career in a dynamic entertainment and hospitality environment. Party Hosts are essential to delivering a memorable experience for guests, especially during birthday events. They are responsible for preparing party areas, setting up tables, attending to guests’ needs, taking orders, and ensuring that the birthday child has a fantastic celebration. The role requires an energetic and enthusiastic personality coupled with excellent customer service skills. As part of the team, Party Hosts contribute to the vibrant, fun, and welcoming atmosphere that underpin CEC’s reputation as a family-friendly establishment.
The role comes with competitive commission-based pay, with exempt employees earning between $0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees can earn $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. Commissions are paid bi-weekly, subject to state laws. Additionally, CEC offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program aimed at financial flexibility and immediate earning potential, making it an attractive option for those who want to avoid waiting between paychecks.
In this role, Party Hosts must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and regularly perform physical activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. The working environment is dynamic, involving exposure to flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. This role demands not only physical endurance but also excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively and handle job-related stress while maintaining a positive, guest-focused attitude.
CEC Entertainment prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, offering reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. The company actively celebrates diversity and ensures equal opportunity employment practices, reflecting its dedication to creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all employees.
